COMING UP THIS WEEK:
Thursday – usual haggle competition 12.15pm.
Saturday – Stableford competition. Ladies LGU Gold medal, MBM Rd 3 and 3rd Qualifying (this replaces Olsen Cup Rd 2 which will be held next week).
Sunday – Round 2 of 3 Donald & Williams Salvers Mixed Foursomes (Nett). This was postponed from last Sunday. If you missed the first round, it’s not too late to play in the Salvers, but you need to play in both remaining rounds – next one is on 11th August.
Tuesday – LGU Gold medal, MBM Rd 3 and 3rd Qualifying postponed from last week. Tuesday ladies can play their competition on Saturday, but must inform the Club Captain.
QUICK REFERENCE RULE BOOKS
I have 4 spiral bound flip page quick reference rule books for sale. They include the new rules and are a really handy rule book to have in your golf bag to pull out when needed.
They are so much easier to navigate through than the Player’s Edition of the Rule Book. It measures 110mm x 150mm.
They are $20. I regret I cannot post them out unless you want to pay an extra $5 for postage, then happy to send to you.

SOME HOUSEKEEPING REGARDING APPROACHING TEES ON THE COURSE
I have been asked to remind players of the following. (I know I have been guilty of not doing so at times).
- When walking from #11 to #12 please keep to the path when approaching the 12th tee.
- When playing #1, do not walk up the left-hand side of the sign, please approach the teeing ground from the front of the tee.
PLATES AND DISHES AT PHIL SUTTON’S
There is an assortment of plates, dishes and containers at Phil Sutton’s house ready to be picked up. If you were among the generous people who took food around to Phil and family at the time of Roseanne’s passing, please pop in sometime to get your plate/container. Thanks
